Margaret Green Animal Rescue, Wareham – Church Knowle Rehoming and Visitor Centre, Wareham. At Margaret Green Animal Rescue we take in pets whose owners have been obliged to surrender them, and those which have been neglected, mistreated or abandoned. As well as veterinary care, pets are prepared and rehabilitated ready for a new home. Most of our animals are vaccinated, micro chipped, treated against worms and fleas and neutered before going to their new home. Margaret Green Animal Rescue cares for over 1,200 animals each year across three centres; our Church Knowle Rehoming and Visitor Centre is home to cats, horses, donkeys, pigs, sheep, goats, rabbits, chickens, ducks and many more species. It is also a visitor centre and is open 7 days a week between 10am and 4pm. Our Lincoln Farm Rescue and Rehoming Centre for Dogs is situated between Blandford and Bere Regis in Dorset and we also have our Wingletang Rescue and Rehoming Centre for Dogs and Cats which is situated near Tavistock, in Devon.
