Information about Cooper
Cooper is a beautiful English Setter, rescued from the Basque Country and arrived at the shelter in June 2023. His hunter no longer wanted him and said he wasn’t good at hunting but he’s an adorable boy! He then came to foster in the UK April 2024, with hopes of finding his forever home.
Cooper is making great progress in such a short space of time and sleeps through the night in his bed next to his humans and toilet training is coming along well. He adores his food! And in fact, anybody else’s that might be lying around too! He’s a bit of a sloppy eater and gets it in his ears too but it adds to his charm. He’s been great with any visitors he’s met and is very happy to have a big fuss made of him. He’s learning to play with other dogs and toys which is a joy to see and he’s learning to relax in a home, not having to follow everyone around every time they move. He loves people and adores a cuddle and so far he’s been great travelling in the car too. He’s a really lovely character who’s been overlooked for a year in the shelter and can’t wait to find himself a family of his own
