Information about GEORGE

George is an 8 year old adorable and loving cockapoo. Due to a change in my working circumstances I am finding that George is not getting the attention that he needs. At the end of this year I will be moving and spending part of the year abroad and I am therefore trying to find a new and loving home for George to settle into.
George can be a little re-active when he sees other dogs out and he has had some very successful training sessions for this but I have not been able to keep this up which is my fault and not George’s. He is also a little timid with strangers and can bark at them but has never shown any signs of aggression.
He loves nothing more than a cuddle and fuss and is very soft natured. I would like George to be homed with an experienced dog owner and think he might be better being the only pet in the home. He has lived with other dogs but would need time to get used to another dog. As I have said he isn’t aggressive but is liable to bark at another dog initially. I would like his move to be a forever home as I would hate to think of him going from home to home, I am in no hurry to let him go as I want it to be right for him hence why I have started looking early enough.
If you feel you can offer George the love and attention he needs please give me your details and some info about your home environment/circumstances please. (George can be left on his own for periods of time( upto 4 or possibly 5 hours) so I am not put off by a working household so long as he is not left for hours and hours.
