Foster home required, with the aim of adoption for very large loveable 2-year-old neutered OES Newfoundland Cross who has the biggest personality, cheekiness, and great character
Key points:
No children under 12 years old
No cats
Would possibly suit a home with another dog of the right temperament as Patch likes to play
You would need to be around most of the time
Out and about Patch is very strong and reactive whilst on lead towards other dogs (Off lead he is ok)
An experienced, confident home is needed and one that can work with us alongside a behaviourist
Patch likes being outside so a home with a reasonable size garden is required
He loves to play ball, likes to chill out with you and give out kisses
Patch loves to swim at Hydrotherapy (see note below)
Ideally located within easy travelling distance to Staffordshire but other areas will be considered if suitable Hydrotherapy is near by
Please note: Patch has ongoing joint issues which are currently being investigated. This may have long term implications. His new home would need to be within easy travelling distance of a properly regulated dog hydrotherapy pool (we can advise accordingly). Under Vet’s advice he currently has a monthly Librella injection but may eventually require surgery on one of his front elbows.
