April Lodge Guinea Pig Rescue, Sandwich – April Lodge was founded in 2004 and became a registered charity in 2007. The charity recently moved from its original home in Sandwich to new premises in Eastry. With the support of the charitable foundation Support Adoption for Pets, April Lodge constructed a new shelter for the animals in our care in 2013. We have enclosures for 64 guinea pigs in the shelter plus space for 9 in the ‘hospital’ (our welfare clinic).
